Michlalah visits the Ancient Caesarea and Atlit Detention Camp
In the end of October, Michlalah explored the ancient Caesarea. After visiting the historical port and the amphitheater, the students enjoyed a leisurely stroll on the beach. After lunch, they traveled to the Atlit detention camp to learn about the struggles of Jewish immigrants from Europe in the turbulent era of the founding of the State of Israel.

Parshat Chayei Sarah Shabbat Machal on the Topic of Jewish Motherhood.
            On Shabbat Chayei Sarah, Michlalah conducted its yearly Machal Shabbaton, focusing on the theme of Jewish motherhood. The students heard shiurim from some of their Mechanchim and teachers, with Mrs. Saperstein and Mrs. Lubarsky presenting a special program about the joys and challenges of motherhood. The students also enjoyed the performance of a play written and acted by the Machal students, as well as the harmonies of the Machal choir.

Shana Bet traveled north with the Rudman and the Makarov families for its annual Tsfat Shabbaton.

   Rosh Chodesh Kislev Breakfast With a Special Guest Speaker      
This Rosh Chodesh, the students participated in a special Rosh Chodesh bagel breakfast. Mrs. Michal Trank shared with the students her powerful life story of learning about Judaism and simchat hechayim through the many life challenges that she faced.
